Ashton Top

Well, I finished my practice/muslin of the Ashton top by @helens__closet.

Let’s just say mistakes were made! A lot of mistakes… I got pretty friendly with my seam ripper.

But, I did tackle a lot of new skills: stay stitching, darts, French seams, and the “burrito method” for sewing on facings.

Only 1 week left of school vacation, trying to squeeze in as many projects as I can before we go back to school.

When I tackle this pattern again I will probably make the hip length view rather than the cropped. Might even try adding the sleeves from the expansion pack.
