New Plan…

Back in April I purchased 5,928 yards of fingering weight yarn that I intended to knit into a Queen sized brioche blanket.

After casting on 384 stitches on size 0 needles and knitting about an inch and a half, I realized the madness of my plan and admitted to myself that the chances of me ever finishing it were extremely slim.

Once it was frogged, I pondered for a bit about my future plans for the yarn. I think the colors are going to become a striped sweater for me, but I have 6 skeins of the natural color as well. I ended up deciding to hold it double and knit Bill a sweater with a bit of a fisherman vibe. Settled on the Brookings Crew pattern by Marie Greene. It’s definitely working up a lot faster than the blanket was! 😂
