Book club starts tomorrow!

👋 Welcome to the first month of the Shelf Indulgence Book Club!!

📚We are kicking off May today with our first book: Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.  It comes highly recommended, so hopefully we will all enjoy it.  Or really hate it!  Either option provides for good discussion.

Ok, lets move on to the rules…

Rule 1: The first rule of book club is we don’t talk about book club… oh wait, that is a different club! Never mind, scratch that from the rules.  You can definitely talk about book club.  Actually, please do! And also feel free to invite anyone else that you think might be interested in joining us.

Rule 2: THERE ARE NO RULES!!  This is book club anarchy.  Book club lord of the flies!!  The international waters of book clubs!! Please feel free to participate as little or as much as you want.  Read the book, don’t read the book, follow the milestone markers, read at your own pace… comment, don’t comment.  This is a seriously low-key kind of club, do whatever makes you happy.

Rule 3:  Or is this Rule 1 since 1 and 2 were not really rules at all? Hmm, is that “one plus two plus two plus one” or “one plus two plus *one* plus one?”  “Shut up! The point is, there’s” one rule left!  This is a safe space.  Everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.  Please be respectful of each other.  If that is not your jam, this is not the book club for you!
