I never really know how to rate romance, and it's not a genre that I read very often. The cover of this one appealed to me, and I know a lot of people loved it, so I checked it out on Libby. It seems like all of the reviews are either "DNF this is the worst book ever" or "I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!" I definitely fall somewhere in between. The world is shit right now and this was lighthearted and funny. It was a good palate cleanser after several darker reads. Maybe I just think I don't really like romance? I am now realizing this is the 3 or 4th romance book I listened to or read this year and didn't hate!
