  • Notes: My cousin really wants some crazy socks for her birthday, so I'm knitting her some. The colorway is called "Coney Island". I usually don't knit such plan socks, but I thought a busy stitch pattern might take away from the stripes...

I used Wendy's pattern as a guide, but improvised the stitch count and used Judy's Magic Cast On for the toe. Not sure what kind of heel I'm going to use yet, but probably a short row.

After finishing the toes on these I decided that the stripes alone would not be crazy enough so I decided to add a pattern. I used the chart from cookie a's monkey socks, but knit all the purls. I hope my cousin ends up liking them!
