New Sharp Pointy Sticks!

I went to a some what local knitting store for the first time on Wednesday. I didn't buy any yarn, because I have no need of more yarn! But I did pick up some new dpns. I am so excited to give them a try. They are square, really lightweight, and SUPER POINTY. I love pointy needles. It is really hard to find ones that are very pointy though, lately they all seem to be so blunt. Can't wait to cast something on with them!

I need to finish up my Ernie socks first though. I am getting close to being done. I've already turned the heel and finished the gusset decreases. I just need to knit about two more inches of the foot before I start the toes (I'm making them at the same time/magic loop). I am REALLY worried that I am going to run out of yarn though. It doesn't seem like there is quite enough to finish. The toes might have to be a different color. It's not the end of the world, but not ideal either.
