Costa Tote

I definitely want to tackle some more clothes. Even though my Shirt No. 1 isn’t really wearable, it did give me hope/validation that I CAN do this. On the flip side, it’s been a long time since I have been a true beginner at a craft and I definitely have a lot of skill building to do.

A friend recommend the Love to Sew podcast and I have been some what obsessively burning through the episodes starting from the beginning. I am learning so much already! For my second project I tackled the free tote pattern that Helen’s Closet offers to newsletter subscribers. The seams are hella wonky, but it came out pretty well and totally useable.

  • Pattern: Costa Tote by Helen’s Closet

  • Fabric: Random clearance and remnants I picked up at Joann’s to practice with.
